Selina is the CC mother of our group; she loves organizing

get-togethers and drinks.

Selina makes sure all our events run smoothly.

She has a passion for diversity including her Pasifika heritage, as well as raising awareness on

environmental issues in our community. Alongside her textile art (Bee Weave) Selina also works

part time at Ara Institute as an Employability Advisor.

Kophie works on many creative projects usually with an environmental or political motivation.

She has a First Class Honours in Bachelor of Media Arts. Currently She is working on her sustainable streetwear brand Future Apparel that uses waste and by products

of fast fashion to create new commodities. She also works full time as well as freelance designer, illustrator and artist.

Aside from art and design she loves to explore Aotearoa, practice yoga and drink coffee.

Helen is usually the girl behind the camera! A creative with a passion for sustainable living, she runs her own photography and videography business, creating content for conscious brands.


She also has a background in digital communications and handles some of the technical sides of the Conscious Club’s online projects. When she’s off duty, Helen loves to explore new places and spend time in nature.

Lucy is the friendly face of The Conscious Club, she shares the love and engages with people at our events as well as on our social media!

Lucy is a busy bee, she works full time as a primary school teacher and also

runs her online thrift store. Lucy is passionate about women’s rights and also about the slow fashion movement!

She believes in buying quality items for longevity, fair wages & reducing our footprint. East End Thrift aims to bring curated vintage threads that don't cost the earth. All items are styled

seamlessly & shot in unique locations around Christchurch.



The Conscious Club was founded in June 2019 by Hannah Smith, Ruby Reedy-Land, Tess Boyce, Lucinda Ferguson & Selina Faimalo. Hannah, Tess & Ruby are legends in the thrift community.

These beautiful ladies all went on to pursue their own

ventures and commitments.
